Ingredients
- 1 cup Tur Dal (Kandipappu)
- 1/4 cup Chana Dal
- 1/4 cup Moong Dal
- 10–15 Dry Red Chilies (adjust to spice preference)
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
- Salt to taste
Optional Add-ons:
- 1/2 tbsp Oil (for roasting)
- 3–4 Garlic Cloves
- 1 small Tamarind ball
Method:
- Roast Tur dal and spices separately on low flame
- cool completely, grind with salt into a fine powder
- store airtight.
