  • Bewild Mysore Mallige -1 cup
  • Water - 5-6 cups
  • Salt to taste (optional)

Cooking Time

  • 20-25 min 

Method: Traditional open vessel

  • Wash Mysore Mallige Rice 2 times with regular water.
  • Add 5-6 cups of water into a vessel and bring it to a boil. 
  • Add washed rice to boiling water & cook for 20-25 minutes. 
  • Check the texture of the rice as per your preference and turn off the flame once cooked.
  • Strain the excess water and let the rice rest for 5 minutes before serving.
