  • Bewild Navara Red Rice -1 cup
  • Water - 3 cups
  • Salt to taste (optional)

Cooking Time

  • 20-30 min 

Method: Traditional open vessel

  • Wash Navara Red Rice 2-3 times with normal water.
  • Soak washed rice in 3 cups of normal water for 2 hours (1:3 rice-to-water ratio).
  • Drain the same rice-soaked water and allow it to boil in a vessel. When water starts to boil, add the soaked rice to it and cook for 20-30 minutes.
  • Strain the excess water and let the rice rest for 5 minutes before serving.
