Ingredients
- Bewild Navara Red Rice -1 cup
- Water - 4 cups
- Salt to taste (optional)
Cooking Time
- 30-40 min
Method: Traditional open vessel
- Rinse Navara Red Rice 2–3 times with regular water.
- Soak the rinsed rice in 4 cups of normal water overnight (1:4 rice-to-water ratio).
- Drain the soaking water and bring it to a boil in a vessel.
- When the water starts boiling, add the soaked rice and cook for 30–40 minutes.
- Strain any excess water and let the rice rest for 5 minutes before serving.
