ROSELLA INFUSION – COLD BEVERAGE

Ingredients (2–3 glasses): 

  • Dried Rosella (Hibiscus) flowers – 3 tbsp
  • Jaggery – 2–3 tbsp (or adjust for sweetness)
  • Cardamom (Elaichi) – 2 pods, crushed
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp (optional, enhances tanginess)
  • Ice cubes – as required
  • Water – 3 cups

Method :

  1. Boil 3 cups of water.
  2. Add Rosella flowers, jaggery, and crushed cardamom.
  3. Simmer for 7–8 minutes until the jaggery dissolves and the water turns bright red.
  4. Strain and let it cool.
  5. Add a dash of lemon juice (optional).
  6. Chill in the refrigerator or pour over ice cubes.
  7. Serve cold and refreshing.

Taste Profile: Sweet-tangy, mildly spiced, cooling, and energizing.
