SPROUTED RAGI ROTI (QUICK FLATBREAD)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sprouted ragi flour
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour (optional, for better texture)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil (for the dough)
  • Water (as needed to knead)

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sprouted ragi flour, wheat flour, and salt.
  2. Add oil and gradually add water to knead into a soft, non‑sticky dough.
  3. Cover the dough and rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Divide into small balls and roll each into a thin roti using a floured surface.
  5. Heat a tava or non‑stick pan, cook the roti on medium heat until both sides are lightly browned, pressing gently with a spatula.
  6. Serve hot with curd, dal, or chutney.
